Ingredients
puff pastry
1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
1/2 large pineapple
2 egg yolks
Directions
- Chop the pineapple into cubes, transfer to a pan or skillet and add the sugar.
- Stir constantly over medium heat until it reaches a jelly stage, turn off the heat and set aside.
- Cut pieces of puff pastry into round shapes and add a little pineapple jam to each one.
- Glue the sides of the dough together forming a basket with each one and place strips of dough on top of the pineapple jam.
- Brush the beaten egg yolks over the tartlets and bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for about 20 minutes.
- Wait for the pineapple tarts to cool down a bit before serving and they are ready to eat.
