Ingredients
1 can of condensed milk (approximately 395g)
3 tablespoons chocolate powder (or cocoa powder if you prefer less sweet)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles to decorate (optional)
Directions
- Over low heat, place the butter in a medium or large pan.
Let it melt. - Add the condensed milk and chocolate powder to the pan with the melted butter.
Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated. - Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously with a wooden or silicone spoon to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan and burning.
The brigadeiro will be ready when the mixture starts to come away from the bottom of the pan, forming a dense mass. - Turn off the heat and transfer the brigadeiro to a greased plate or marble surface to cool.
- Let the brigadeiro cool for a few minutes until it is safe to handle.
Then, grease your hands with butter or oil to prevent the dough from sticking and make balls of the size you prefer. - If desired, sprinkle the balls with sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles to decorate.
- The pan brigadeiro is ready to be enjoyed!
You can serve immediately or let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
