Pamonha Cake in a Blender (Special for June Festival)

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 can of corn

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 dessert spoon of baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 2/3 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of milk

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of cornmeal

  • Cinnamon powder for sprinkling

  • Sugar for sprinkling

Directions

  • In a blender, place the milk, drained corn, sugar, unsalted butter, grated parmesan cheese and salt.
  • Beat until smooth, add the eggs and beat quickly. Add the cornmeal and mix well with a whisk.
  • Add the yeast, mix until combined and pour the mixture into a small baking dish greased with butter and cornmeal.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon powder to taste until uniform and sprinkle over the dough.
  • Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200°₢ for 30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  • Wait for the cake to cool a little, cut it however you like and it’s ready to eat.
