2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)

1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round cake tin with butter and flour or use baking paper on the bottom to make it easier to remove.
- Vanilla dough: In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, sugar and baking powder.
- Add the butter, eggs, milk and vanilla essence.
Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough. - Chocolate dough: In another bowl, mix the wheat flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder.
- Add the butter, eggs and milk.
Mix until smooth. - Now, start assembling the cake in the prepared pan.
Alternate spoonfuls of the vanilla and chocolate masses, creating overlapping layers in the pan. - With a fork or spatula, make light circular movements within the dough, creating a marbled effect.
- Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Then, unmold it and let it cool completely on a wire rack before serving. - Optional: To make the cake even more delicious, you can sprinkle icing sugar on it or cover it with chocolate ganache.
