Homemade Apricot Jam

This homemade apricot jam is so easy that its preparation doesn’t require great culinary skills!

Ingredients

  • 150g sugar

  • 200 ml of water

  • 300g dried apricots

  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar

Directions

  • Add the chopped apricots to 1 cup of hot water and let it hydrate for at least 1 hour.
  • Place the apricots, sugar, 200 ml of water and vinegar in the pan.
  • Bring to a boil and let cook for about 20 minutes.
  • Grind everything in a blender, processor or with a mixer and return the mixture to the pan.
  • Cook until it becomes jelly-like. Turn off the heat and wait for it to cool.
  • Transfer to a sterilized glass container with a lid.
  • Serve the jelly with bread, toast or use in cakes, pies and other desserts.
