This oat bran coconut skillet bread takes just a few minutes to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole egg

  • 5 tablespoons oat bran

  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk

  • 2 teaspoons demerara sugar

  • 1 teaspoon chemical yeast

  • 1 tablespoon grated coconut

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • In a bowl add the egg and beat it well. 
    Put the sugar and mix again.
  • Add the coconut milk, salt, oat bran and mix well. 
    Put the grated coconut and stir again.
  • Add the baking soda, mix until homogenized and transfer the dough to a skillet greased with oil.
  • Bring to a low boil, cover the skillet and cook for approximately 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Flip the bread with the help of a spatula and cook for another 3 minutes over low heat.
  • Remove the bread from the skillet, transfer it to a plate or platter and eat it with your favorite accompaniment.
