Cream pie is a classic dessert, tasty and easy to prepare that cannot be missing from your table!

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of ready-made puff pastry

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 500 ml of milk

  • 200 grams of sour cream

  • 1/2 cup (tea) sugar (90 grams)

  • 1/4 cup (tea) wheat flour (35 grams)

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence (15 ml)

Directions

  • In a pan add the eggs, wheat flour and mix very well.
  • Add sugar, milk and mix again very well. 
    Bring to a boil and stir constantly until thickened.
  • Remove from the heat, add the vanilla essence, the cream and stir until homogenized. 
    Book and let the cream cool at room temperature.
  • Place the puff pastry on top of parchment paper, place it on a baking sheet and cut off the excess paper.
  • Hit the edges of the pie by pressing lightly, pierce the dough, add the already lukewarm or cold cream and spread well.
  • Lightly press the edges of the pie with a fork and bake for between 35 and 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
  • Wait for the cream pie to cool completely before unmolding it and serve it right away or leave it in the fridge for a few hours to consume it cold.
