Ingredients
3 cups of milk tea
3 eggs
2 teacups of sugar
1 cup of cornmeal
1/2 cup of wheat flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a medium pan (approximately 22 cm in diameter) with butter and flour or use baking paper to line the bottom of the pan.
- In a blender, place the milk, eggs, sugar, cornmeal, wheat flour, butter and salt.
Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture. - Then add the baking powder and mix lightly with a spoon or by stirring quickly in the blender in pulse mode.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding.
