Ingredients

  • 500g chicken cut into small pieces (wing drumstick and breast pieces)

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 cup of wheat flour

  • Frying oil

  • Chopped parsley to decorate

Directions

  • In a bowl, season the chicken with lemon juice, chopped garlic, salt and black pepper. 
    Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • After marinating, drain the chicken to eliminate excess liquid.
  • Place the wheat flour in a shallow dish and dredge the chicken pieces in the flour, coating each piece well.
  • Heat the oil in a deep pan to a temperature of approximately 170-180°C.
  • Fry the chicken pieces in batches, not overcrowding the pan. 
    This will help keep the oil temperature constant and ensure even frying.
  • Fry the chicken pieces until golden and crispy, which should take about 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove the fried chicken pieces with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  • Repeat the process until all the chicken pieces are fried.
  • After frying, sprinkle the chicken pieces with a little more salt and black pepper, if desired.
  • Transfer the chicken to a serving plate, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
