Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth (can be replaced with water)

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped green chili to taste

  • Breadcrumbs

  • 2 beaten eggs

  • Frying oil

Directions

  • In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until golden.
  • Add the shredded chicken, season with salt and pepper to taste and sauté for a few minutes.
  • Add chopped green chillies to taste, mix well and set aside.
  • In a pan, heat the chicken broth with the butter and a pinch of salt until it boils.
  • Add the wheat flour all at once and stir vigorously until a homogeneous dough forms and no longer sticks to the bottom of the pan.
  • Remove from heat and let the dough cool slightly.
  • Take portions of the dough and flatten it in the palm of your hand to form a disc.
  • Place a portion of the chicken filling in the center and shape it into a drumstick shape.
  • Dip the drumsticks in the beaten eggs and then in the breadcrumbs, breading them evenly.
  • Heat the oil in a deep pan or fryer until it reaches a temperature of approximately 180°C.
  • Fry the drumsticks in small batches until they are golden on the outside.
  • Remove and drain on paper towel.
  • Serve the drumsticks hot as a snack or side dish.
