Ingredients
2 cups chicken broth (can be replaced with water)
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cups of wheat flour
Salt to taste
2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
1 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green chili to taste
Breadcrumbs
2 beaten eggs
Frying oil
Directions
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until golden.
- Add the shredded chicken, season with salt and pepper to taste and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add chopped green chillies to taste, mix well and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the chicken broth with the butter and a pinch of salt until it boils.
- Add the wheat flour all at once and stir vigorously until a homogeneous dough forms and no longer sticks to the bottom of the pan.
- Remove from heat and let the dough cool slightly.
- Take portions of the dough and flatten it in the palm of your hand to form a disc.
- Place a portion of the chicken filling in the center and shape it into a drumstick shape.
- Dip the drumsticks in the beaten eggs and then in the breadcrumbs, breading them evenly.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan or fryer until it reaches a temperature of approximately 180°C.
- Fry the drumsticks in small batches until they are golden on the outside.
- Remove and drain on paper towel.
- Serve the drumsticks hot as a snack or side dish.
