The crunchiness and flavor of these cheese sticks make this recipe a delicious snack option!

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes

  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 100 grams of parmesan cheese

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil

Directions

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, transfer to a pan of boiling water and cook for 12 minutes.
  • Wait for the potatoes to cool down a bit and mash them using a fork until they are in a puree state.
  • Add the grated parmesan cheese, black pepper, salt, cornstarch and mix until smooth.
  • Knead the mixture very well with clean hands (put it inside a zip bag if you prefer).
  • Cut the dough into strips or rolls (the thinner it is, the crispier it gets).
  • Heat enough oil in a pan to cover the snacks and place them little by little so they don’t stick.
  • Fry the snacks until golden brown, remove them with a slotted spoon and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Serve the cheese sticks still warm with the side dish of your choice and bon appétit.
