Follow the step-by-step instructions to make this delicious Cassava Cake!

Ingredients

  • 500g cassava (cassava or cassava) peeled and grated

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a medium pan with butter and sprinkle with wheat flour.
  • In a large bowl, mix the grated cassava with the eggs, sugar, coconut milk, milk, vegetable oil and melted butter. Stir well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Add the baking powder and a pinch of salt to the mixture and stir again until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level the surface with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding.
  • Serve the cassava cake in slices and enjoy!
