To make your Cinnamon Banana Cake, use the ingredients below and follow the instructions.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
  • In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Add the sugar and melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  • Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Add the milk to the mixture and stir until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to banana mixture, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and level the surface with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes. 
    Then transfer it to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, you can sprinkle some icing sugar on top or even whip up a topping of your choice, like a cream cheese frosting or cinnamon sugar frosting.
