The easy and uncomplicated preparation of pepper jelly is surprising!

Ingredients

  • 2 apples

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 4 chili peppers

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of orange or lemon juice

Directions

  • Peel the cleaned apples, remove the seeds and grate the fruit.
  • Place the sugar, orange or lemon juice and grated apples in a pan.
  • Chop the peppers and remove the seeds from only 2 of them. Add the peppers and crushed garlic to the pan.
  • Place the pan over low heat, stir constantly for about 10 minutes and turn off the heat.
  • Transfer the mixture to small jars or other containers of your choice and wait for it to cool.
  • Use the pepper jelly in your favorite recipe or leave it in the refrigerator until ready to consume.
