This recipe for creamy baked coconut candy teaches you how to make the traditional June festival sweet in an uncomplicated way!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk (395 grams)

  • 1 and 1/2 cups (tea) of grated dry coconut

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Add the condensed milk, grated dried coconut and salt to a bowl and mix well.
  • Transfer to an ovenproof dish and place in a larger dish filled with hot water almost halfway.
  • Bake in a bain-marie in a preheated oven at 180°₢ for about 50 to 60 minutes.
  • Serve the creamy coconut candy warm or cold if you prefer and the dessert is ready.
