5 eggs
360 grams of chocolate
Powdered sugar to taste (optional)
Directions
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Set the yolks aside and beat the whites in a mixer or with a hand whisk until they form stiff peaks.
- Melt the chocolate, add the sifted egg yolks and mix well to combine.
- Add the egg whites little by little while mixing until smooth.
- Transfer all the dough to a pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160°₢ for about 30 to 35 minutes.
- Turn the cake out onto a plate after it has cooled and remove the parchment paper.
- Finish by sprinkling powdered sugar on top (optional) and the cake is ready.
